When compiling the schematic in Altium Designer, sometimes there will be a warning message: Net has no driving source.
This is because an electrical inspection has been performed in the circuit. This article explains how to eliminate this type of warning message.

Altium Designer
Method/Step
-
Open an AD project, which contains the sch file; (here is just a demonstration example)
-
Select the schematic file, right-click, and click "Compile Document.." in the drop-down menu to compile;
-
After compiling, in the lower right corner of the software, click "System"-"message" as follows; (If there is an Error in the compilation, a dialog box will pop up directly)
-
The "Message" dialog box appears, displaying the "Net has no driving source" warning message:
-
There are two ways to eliminate the alarm information: one is to modify the pin type of the corresponding component to the corresponding type; (if it is input, output, etc., it means that the electrical rule check is performed, and the pin types of the connected components need to be changed. Make the corresponding settings, for example: Here 5 pins are input, then the part connected to it can be adjusted to output; if it is of passive type, it means that electrical rule detection is not required.)
Since the components connected up and down are capacitors, resistors, etc., which are generally set to passive type, so here is also modified to passive type, that is, electrical rules inspection is not performed.
-
The second method is: click "Place-Indication-No ERC". Here, if there is no ERC, it means that the electrical rule check is not performed. Then, place a No ERC at the corresponding point of the alarm.

At this time, there will be no Net has no driving source warning from the new compilation.
