"About 25 years ago, when I first learned Python, I found that it can be efficiently applied to my various chaotic work projects. I was shocked. 15 years ago, I got the same from teaching others to learn Python. Fun. Because of teaching, there is this course. Since 2007, I have taught Python to more than 400 groups. The teaching objects are: traders, system administrators, astronomers, repairmen, and even a few use Python The rocket scientist who helped the rover land. Now I have made it public under the CC agreement. Enjoy!"
Course content
There are also about 130 hands-on programming exercises.
Course audience
Usually engineers and programmers, they have at least one other programming language experience. Although this course does not require prior knowledge of Python, it is best to have basic knowledge of programming. Most children's shoes who have studied before think this course is challenging, even if they are already doing some Python programming.
Course targets
The purpose is to cover the basic aspects of Python programming, with emphasis on scripting, data manipulation and program organization. At the end of this course, students should be able to start writing useful Python programs themselves, or be able to understand and modify Python code written by their colleagues.
