Unconsciously, there are more and more applications on the computer; more and more various files.
We need to tidy up regularly to give ourselves a tidy office environment.
File storage
desktop
On my computer, there are only two things on the desktop, fresh:
- Temporary data folder (bottom left corner)
- Recycle Bin (bottom right corner)
My computer is generally used to enter the file manager. You can set the hidden option in Theme>Desktop Icon, and fix the file manager to the taskbar instead.
Other commonly used applications are also pinned to the taskbar, and applications such as QQ and WeChat are set to start on boot.
Disk
I also divide the disk into three:
- Drive C: The system drive, of course, is used to install the system (80G).
- Disk D: Application Disk, the installed application is here (100G).
- Disk E: Work disk, where work-related documents are placed (40G).
Application uninstall
Uninstall 360
- There are usually various pop-up windows, and after uninstalling, I suddenly feel that the whole world is quiet.
- The mobile assistant application is rubbish.
- Antivirus is a good thing about surfing the Internet, and it feels useless after so many years.
- After uninstalling, I am ready to install the computer housekeeper, think about it or forget it, I want to try it for a while.
- 360's application manager usually uses it a lot, so if you need any application in the future, go to the official website to download it.
Uninstall input method
- Sogou, the input method, feels that many functions are useless.
- From time to time, new words and hot words pop up for me to read, no need.
- Cloud synchronization...No, it's basically all you need.
- Reset back to Microsoft Pinyin, which can meet daily needs.
- But the association function of words does need to adapt.
When I use Microsoft Pinyin, I cannot switch to Chinese. I try to delete the "Chinese language" and add it again and set the keyboard back to normal.
After
using the Microsoft Pinyin with some events, I finally chose QQ Pinyin and set up common phrases. Thanks again.
I can't bear the trouble of typos.
Uninstall browser
- There were many browsers installed, but Chrome was the most commonly used.
- Is it true that a certain browser has to tamper with and modify the default browser.
- So uninstalled Firefox/QQ browser/360 browser.
Later, I installed Firefox again, because sometimes multiple accounts are used to log in and debug.
Uninstall compression software
- There are three compression software (Winrar/7zip/360 compression) on the computer, because they are installed under special circumstances and are rarely used in normal times.
- As a result, there are too many right-click menus and incomplete display. Uninstall the redundant ones and just leave one.
- I feel that winrar may be used by more people, so let him stay for now. In addition, I heard that there is an international version of 360 compression that is quite clean, and I will try it later.
Uninstall PDF reader
- Occasionally encounter pdf files, just use Chrome to read them.
- There are also several pdf e-books in the local area, which are rarely read on the computer. Later, I simply bought the paper.
Uninstall the viewing software
- You have installed multiple viewing software, just leave one commonly used one.
- When there is no software for viewing pictures, you can even use Chrome instead.
Uninstall notepad++
- Installed Visual Sttdio Code, it can completely replace notepad++, it is more easy to use and more powerful.
Microsoft To Do
- Although the company uses DingTalk's agency function, many personal arrangements still want to be listed separately; Microsoft's own ToDo cannot be more suitable.
Plug-ins that have been useless for a long time
- During work development, some functions need to install plug-ins, and these plug-ins are not needed after development.
- For example, Haikang surveillance video playback plug-in...

Station
After working for a long time, there are more equipment in the company, such as pillows, sandals, snacks, tea, notebooks, blankets... It’s
almost impossible to tidy up, and I usually only put on my desk: water cup + screen + wireless mouse ; Put everything else in the drawer and take it out when you need it.
The water cup is very important. A colleague in my twenties went to the hospital for a lithotripsy a few days ago. He had a kidney stone with a diameter of one centimeter!
The company can be messy, but one's own work station cannot be messy, otherwise it will affect the programming mood.
