During the epidemic, in addition to learning Java at home or learning Java, I accidentally noticed that Alibaba Cloud launched a free server for students. Hey, seize the opportunity now and hurry up to complete one. I encountered a lot of pits in the process of building and purchasing, and I will sort them out here.
Buy server
If you are a student, you can do it with one click. The only thing you need to do is to select the mirror image. Here, attach the Alibaba Cloud student ESC server for free to receive the warm reminder to connect to the
Alibaba Cloud ESC student server
. If you open at 8 o'clock every morning
, you can see it after you go in. Still very conscientious, 2 core 4G, for students, is completely OK, you need to answer simple questions before getting the server, but it is very simple, don't panic. If you get it, follow the steps
- Pay attention to the first pit . When I filled in, I found that there were no servers in many areas. I thought it was Ali cheating on my feelings. Don’t panic, just try a few more. If he can grab them, there will be more. For students, the distance is not important. They are not doing large-scale project development. Moreover, the server for large-scale projects is not enough for half a year. I didn't say anything about Daniel.
- Most people who choose mirroring for development use Linux systems. I also do java development myself, so I choose the system under CentOS. Of course, if you have a soft spot for Windows systems, you can also choose. After that, simple tasks such as setting a password will not be repeated.
- After you have purchased everything without objection, you can log in to the Alibaba Cloud backend to take a look first, which is like
this. Here you can see all the information of your server
Set up the environment
- Since I set up a server environment is to use the pagoda, so here you want to set up a security group , the security group
After clicking the past, there is a Create Security Group in the upper right corner. After entering, select Manually add in the incoming direction
- After configuring the security group, then install the pagoda on the server. Here, some people may like to use some configuration files in combination with Xftp. When I use it myself, the environment setup always makes mistakes. This is the second pit I encountered , so To be safe, I choose to use the pagoda. The pagoda is relatively friendly to people who are not familiar with Linux commands. If you want a configuration file, you can private me. That's it
- Here I choose to use Xshell as the background management, because downloading on the official website requires sending emails, and downloading on CSDN requires RMB, so I put it under the cookie cloud disk , and the download is very fast ( attach Xftp by the way ) Xshell After Xftp downloads Xshell6, you can perform related operations
- Select New,
it will let you fill in your host number , which is the public IP of your server , and then fill in your username and password in the user authentication column
, then connect, a dialog box pops up, receive and save - Install pagoda
- First enter the following command into the interface
yum install -y wget && wget -O install.sh http://download.bt.cn/install/install_6.0.sh && sh install.sh
- After the carriage return, display such a sentence, enter
y
- After waiting for a period of time will be installed successfully, it will show the domain name to log in with your user name and password, note that this is the third pit , when you forget any one there, do not panic, the input interface
bt default
can be - After entering everything, you successfully enter the Pagoda Linux control panel, it will let you choose an installation environment, which is why I choose Pagoda, it is convenient. These two here are up to your liking. It should be noted that if you build WordPress, you must choose the PHP version 5.6, otherwise the build will fail. After you choose, you will wait patiently.
At this point, the environment is set up.
Build your first blog
- First, find the software store in the pagoda Linux panel, find the picture below and install and open
- Find WordPress inside, one-click deployment
- Fill in your public IP in the domain name. Of course, if you have already purchased the domain name before purchasing the server, just fill in your domain name. What you need to change below is the database name and password. Of course, you cannot remember that you have changed it. The past name and password can be viewed through the pagoda, don’t panic
- Start the installation, just change the first three items
- The next step is to set up some site titles, usernames and passwords. It's very simple. I won't mention it here. After the installation is complete, you can set up your own blog.
