There are many types of A/D converters, and they are divided into 8 bits, 10 bits, 12 bits, etc. The higher the number, the higher the resolution, but the more expensive it is. In terms of structure, there are A/D converters (such as ADC0801. AD673, etc.), and A/D converters with multiple switches (such as ADC0809. ADC0816 are equipped with multiple switches). With the development of large-scale integrated circuits, a multi-functional A/D conversion chip has been produced. AD363 is a typical chip of it. It has 16-way multiplexers, data amplifiers, sample-and-hold devices and 12-bit A/D converters inside, and its wooden body constitutes a complete data acquisition system. In recent years, with the extensive use of microcomputers, many inexpensive A/D converters have appeared.
