The PicoScope 6 software does not show the prompt box whether to use the demonstration device

Problem Description

Some users reported that they accidentally checked the "Remember option and execute at startup" when opening the software and chose not to use the demonstration device, as shown in Figure 1. So how can the demo equipment be reused? Every time I open the software, the demo device will not be used by default, and the prompt box whether to use the demo device is not displayed. Solution

1. Select "No" when opening the software, that is, do not use the demo device. If you need to reuse the demo device later, you can click the "File" menu >> "Connect Device", and then re-use the demo device in the pop-up dialog box. as shown in picture 2.

2. As shown in Figure 1, I accidentally checked the "Remember option and execute it at startup" and clicked "No", which caused the demonstration device not to be used by default every time the software was opened later. The steps to reset this default setting are as follows, click "Tools" menu >> "Preferences", select "General" in the pop-up dialog box, and then click "Reset Do not show this information dialog box again", and finally click OK, as shown in the figure 3 shown. In this way, the reset is successful, and you can see the prompt box prompting whether to use the demo device after restarting the software.
