HP R720 server installation virtualization environment

This week I traveled to another place to deploy the company's products, and encountered big problems in server virtualization.

Use u disk to make boot disk.

I originally wanted to use the iDRAC port of the server to install the esxi environment, but the check configuration showed that there was no problem, but it just couldn't connect. Finally, the system with u disk installed directly.

(1) First insert the U disk and format it into a FAT file system.

(2) Open the UltraISO software, use the UltraISO software to open the prepared Windows server 2008 CD image, and click the menu "Start" ----- "Write Hard Disk Image". Change the writing method to "USB-HDD", click write, and wait for the operation to be completed.

(3) Start the server, press F11 according to the prompt in the upper right corner of the server self-test screen to enter "BIOS Boot Manager", select "BIOS Boot Menu", then select "Hard drive C:" ---- "Front USB: XXXX" in the list Start U disk.

Power on and restart, configure network card information, etc. Here you can refer to-> ( https://www.iyunv.com/thread-519718-1-1.html )

After the configuration of the virtualization environment is completed, you can directly connect the server with a network cable and configure the same address as the server virtualization environment to enter the virtualization environment.

Upload the image file to the exsi server to create a virtual machine.

Other considerations

1. Be sure to test whether the configuration of the uplink switch is correct. It is best to connect the laptop directly from the server and configure whether the assigned address is available.
2. The network card configuration can be simple and must be simple, does not know not to do configuration changes, to add here the connection on a server dual card configuration, you can click to see ----> ( https://www.cnblogs.com /yizhipanghu/p/10448457.html )

In fact, this is not very familiar with the configuration of how to bind the physical network card to the virtual machine, but I forgot, I can only wait to add it next time.
