AM335x platform used small partner should know, OK335xS LCD Interface development platform is RGB888 mode, and the LCD interface OK335xD development platform is RGB565 mode. If xS mirrored xD programmed into the platform, then LCD displays unusual color.
Why is this?
Is the correspondence between RGB565 and RGB888 is not a figure below that right?
To this end, I specifically looked at the AM335x the datasheet, find the following description:
As can be seen from the figure, although the upper patterns corresponding to RGB565 and RGB888 are LCD [15: 0], but R [7: 3] and B [7: 3] corresponding to the data bits is reversed LCD, xD and different xS development platform model, the two signals on the floor just do the exchange line, therefore, will lead xS xD mirror placed on the platform, abnormal color display.
Then other platforms RGB565 and RGB888 mode of correspondence between what is it?

First look i.MX6UL platform, the CPU can be found in the datasheet:
As can be seen from the figure, RGB565 mode using LCD_D [15: 0], RGB888 mode using LCD_D [23: 0]. OKMX6UL-C chassis uses RGB888 mode, if you want to reduce the number of traces, use RGB565 mode, be sure to clear correspondence between the LCD and the data bits of RGB, otherwise the video.
