Idea2014 version can be connected with the svn, svn display items. However, in the idea2018 Rom version svn , as shown below:
And my idea14 18 svn version and the version of the set is the same. Why you can connect a svn, and the other not?

Because idea2018 of use svn command-line client, if there is no local svn command-line client will cause the commands to execute and then being given, idea2018 also gives tips, as follows:

Install svn client TortoiseSVN. Note that: when installing TortoiseSVN, the command line client tools installed, as shown below:
Select the command line client tools, and then select Will be installed on local hard drive
After installing TortoiseSVN can be a normal connection svn up, as shown below:
