Erreur de comparaison.07 q. Pourquoi 464.h264ref échoue-t-il lorsqu'il est exécuté, en affichant *** Miscompare of foreman_test_baseline_encodelog.out ?

Lorsque j'exécute le benchmark 464.h264ref, je vois des messages comme ceux-ci :

suivi d'un pointeur vers un fichier contenant une liste d'erreurs de comparaison. La première ligne à mal comparer est généralement la ligne 15 :

Pourquoi?

un. Le symptôme ci-dessus peut se produire si votre compilateur suppose que les variables char ne sont pas signées. Le code source de 464.h264ref suppose qu'ils sont signés.

À propos de Signed Char :  Si vous rencontrez les symptômes répertoriés sous  Miscompare.07 ,    Miscompare.08 ou  Build.05 , veuillez consulter la documentation de votre compilateur pour un commutateur de compilateur qui active les caractères signés, tels que :

        -signed 
        -fsigned-char 
        -qchars=signed

Une fois que vous avez trouvé le commutateur de votre compilateur pour les caractères signés, essayez d'ajouter ce commutateur à vos indicateurs PORTABILITY pour le benchmark concerné, pour voir s'il résout le problème.

Si vous souhaitez générer  des résultats rapportables  et  les utiliser en public , vous devez vérifier si SPEC a déjà approuvé l'utilisation du drapeau. Vous pouvez utiliser l'outil de recherche de résultats,  www.spec.org/cgi-bin/osgresults , pour rechercher des résultats publiés à partir de plates-formes matérielles/logicielles similaires à votre plate-forme.

Si SPEC n'a pas encore approuvé l'indicateur, vous pouvez demander à SPEC d'approuver son utilisation, conformément à  la règle 2.1.5 Indicateurs de portabilité  .

Important :  Il existe plusieurs entrées de FAQ relatives aux caractères signés. Si vous avez rencontré l'un des symptômes, vous devriez probablement passer en revue les trois :  Miscompare.07 ,    Miscompare.08 et  Build.05
