Professor Lu Hongyuan is an assistant professor in the field of life sciences and biomedical engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). He graduated from New York University with a bachelor's degree in chemical and biological engineering; received a doctorate from the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong; after graduation, he engaged in postdoctoral research at the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the National University of Singapore and the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Its research mainly focuses on the fields of synthetic biology, protein engineering, metabolic engineering, environmental biology and other fields.
