Intelligent integration of HUAWEI CLOUD ROMA Connect – a new weapon for digital transformation of modern enterprises

Intelligent business flow generation

ROMA Connect intelligent service flow generation is an AI capability launched in July this year. Understand the integrated business requirements input by users through NLP (Natural Language Processing) machine learning, match the triggers, connectors and data processors supported by the system, and generate composite applications. Users can further configure and modify the generated application, and finally build and deploy it online.

 ROMA Connect users can use the following steps to experience the capabilities of intelligent traffic generation:

1. The entrance of intelligent business flow generation starts from "ROMA Snap" on the home page. Click “ROMA Snap” and a dialog box will pop up.

2. The user describes the composite application he wants to create from the input box, or selects the language description template below the input box.

3. Users can also click the underline, and then replace other triggers, data processors, and connectors.

4. Finally, the user clicks "Enter" to generate a combined application. Then click "Apply Results", the composite application will continue editing on the canvas and deploy the build.

The next version of intelligent business flow generation will enhance the mode of human-computer interaction dialogue. Dialogue prompts for unconfigured nodes in the composite application, or recommends the next connector that can be integrated. In the end, we made it possible for AI to understand the common integrated business language and generate combined applications that meet business needs.

Smart Data Mapping

In addition to intelligent service flow generation, the next-generation ROMA Connect intelligent integration platform will also provide intelligent data mapping capabilities. In a heterogeneous database, the mapping between fields between different tables is used for data migration. Through AI's Name Entity Recognition (named entity recognition) and Similarity Detection (similarity recognition) related algorithms, identify and find out the mapping relationship between fields in different tables. The table fields are automatically mapped.

ROMA Connect  intelligent integration engine

The intelligent integration capability of ROMA Connect requires the support of a powerful AI intelligent integration engine. The intelligent integration engine is Huawei's self-developed AI engine, which is scalable and self-learning. Scalability means that the engine can support more capabilities in the future in a plug-in manner, such as intelligent data mapping and intelligent metadata discovery. These plug-in capabilities are loaded in the Online Process component in the figure below and will not affect the overall architecture. Self-learning means that the engine will collect user feedback and use it to retrain the AI ​​model after desensitization. This retraining occurs in the Offline Process component in the figure below. The model is trained through Scheduling Fine-Tune Training. After the verification is successful, it is submitted to the Online Process component for online use.
