While most scanners on the market support TWAIN, but there are some models (such as the ScanSnap) does not support the TWAIN.
In fact, TWAIN Working Group has developed a tool called TWACKER, can help us to detect scanners, cameras and other data sources support TWIAN.
Note, TWACKER only available for Windows. For Mac only devices, please contact scanner vendor for more information.

how to use:
1. Open TWACKER after installed
2. Click on 'Select Source', select your device
If your device does not appear, please check whether the driver is installed. Or, try to TWACKER as "administrator" to run, because it may not have access to the data source.
3. Once you select Source, click on 'Acquire' to scan
4. If the scan is successful, then your device is TWAIN-compatible. You can also try other scan settings, how to look at equipment operation
If the scanner can not be used TWACKER, please confirm whether the installation of the TWAIN driver. Dynamic Web TWAIN SDK supports TWAIN-based scanners.
