Elastic public IP (Elastic IP Address, referred to EIP), is a buy and hold an independent public network IP address resources. Currently, EIP can be bound to a specific instance of ECS type of network, private network SLB instance-specific network type, the type of auxiliary elastic proprietary network card, NAT gateways and high availability on virtual IP.
EIP is a NAT IP. It is actually located Ali cloud public network gateway, mapped to the resources bound by NAT mode. After binding and cloud resources, the EIP cloud resources through public network communication.
