Kylin desktop using GRUB2 to start, unable to reset the root password by single-user mode. Here's how to reset the desktop version of Kylin root password:
1, the guide modify grub2
Pressed on normal system inlet "e", will enter the edit mode, the line search ro; ro to change the RW; (to be written to change the read-only)
The quiet deleted; (quiet mode does not go shabu lines of code can be deleted)
Increase init = / sysroot / bin / sh; (or init = / bin / bash, shell environment specified)
Press F10 or ctrl + x to boot the system.
2, change the root password
passwd root # Change Password
3, in which the restart
Run the command exec / sbin / init to start normally, or with the command exec / sbin / reboot reboot.
4, reset the password
After entering the system, if necessary, re-set a new root password and other user's password with passwd.
