certainly! The Polygon blockchain supports smart contracts. Simply put, it is a program that everyone can see and execute. We deployed an ERC721 smart contract, which has a mint function. The effect is to record the owner of a certain eagle. On the blockchain, this function can only be executed by the owner of the program (others will return directly without passing the authentication). Then our chain association will call this function to issue the Righteous Eagle to the alumni who have passed our verification.

In fact, what is saved on the chain is the corresponding relationship between the Qiushi Eagle ID number and the owner's wallet address. The picture of Qiushi Eagle is not saved on the chain, because the cost of on-chain storage is relatively high, and the cost of image storage is unimaginable... But our The pictures are stored on IPFS, and gateway acceleration is provided by the alumni company 4everland. IPFS is also a decentralized storage network. You don’t have to worry about your Qiushi Eagle one day getting 404.
