Why switch to mechanical major
Because the grade of the school is not high, there are not many restrictions on changing majors. I switched to Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation at the beginning of my freshman year. Why did I choose to

2: Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation. I will learn some computer-related knowledge, and I also learned on the Internet that this major can be developed in the direction of computers. Although I don’t have much computer knowledge, there are still opportunities

Because the mechanical major does not have as many courses as chemical engineering, I even feel that I have a lot of time (my roommate does not think so, they think there are too many mechanical courses, maybe because they have not experienced chemical engineering courses), so I often set aside time to study computers (but it seems that too much time is allocated to computers and it’s a bit uncomfortable to study professional courses now). I may spend some time to study professional courses later, otherwise I may fail the course.
