What are the application scenarios of artificial intelligence? And what are the future market expectations?

Author: Zen and the Art of Computer Programming

1 Introduction

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is redefining our lives. In recent years, the rapid development of AI technologies such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, and brain-computer interfaces as infrastructure has changed all aspects of people's lives. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, its application scenarios are also expanding, especially in the field of intelligent interaction. The following will make a systematic analysis of the current application status and future expectations of artificial intelligence technology from two aspects: "application fields" and "development directions."

2. Application fields of artificial intelligence

2.1 Intelligent customer service/intelligent chat robot

At present, intelligent customer service is mainly divided into two types. One is based on retrieval methods, such as question and answer systems and chat systems; the other is based on deep learning methods, such as text-based chat robots and knowledge graphs.

2.1.1 Question and Answer System

Question and answer systems can answer simple or complex questions asked by users. Based on the sentences entered by the user, the question and answer system obtains relevant knowledge and information through natural language understanding technology and information retrieval technology, and returns the most appropriate answer. As shown in the figure, the most common question answering systems include rule-based question answering systems, statistical learning question answering systems, and deep learning question answering systems. Among them, rule-based question answering systems are widely used, but their accuracy is low; statistical learning question answering systems require a large amount of annotated data and cannot handle complex problems; and deep learning based question answering systems can effectively solve some practical problems in question answering systems. problems, especially some "multi-round" and "open domain" problems.

2.1.2 Chat system

The chat system can answer simple, repetitive questions. Unlike the question and answer system, it does not require the user to provide any explicit information and only allows the user to chat with the system. Since the chat system does not have a precise mission goal, it will be updated as the environment changes, and it will not pay too much attention to details such as grammar and structure. current
