With the continuous development of network technology, remote control of computer desktops has become possible. Remote desktop control refers to remote control sharing or access to each other's computer desktop between different devices. It usually allows software uninstallation/installation, file downloading, website access, etc. If you want to remotely control your computer desktop, there are two ways to do it.
1. Use the tools that come with Windows
Step 1. Set "Allow Remote Desktop Connection" on the controlled computer. Operation process: Click [Settings, Remote Desktop] and check Allow.
Step 2. Press the Windows+R keys on the control computer, enter mstsc, click OK and then enter the name of the remote computer (you may also need a username + password) to connect.
However, this method has limitations. It requires a professional version to operate, does not support multiple devices, and has a relatively single function.
2. Use computer monitoring software
The software needs to be installed on the controlled computer. No installation is required on the master computer. You can directly log in to the system for operation. Select the controlled computer and click Remote Control to achieve remote assistance. Usually divided into two situations!
1. Consent is required: When the controlled computer is in normal use, the master needs to obtain the consent of the controlled computer before it can perform remote control;
2. No consent required: It is called unattended mode, which does not require confirmation from the controlled terminal and allows direct remote control.
Computer monitoring software is more flexible for remote control. It can handle operations that require remote collaboration when no one is on the controlled computer, and is more in line with the needs of modern people. If an employee forgets to turn off the computer after get off work, or if the employee needs to control the computer to handle computer maintenance when they are away, they can directly operate it to improve the company's office efficiency and make working outside the home more convenient.
