The goal of the IPFS incentive layer virtual machine is to enable users to deploy their own smart contracts on the IPFS incentive layer blockchain!
FVM brings universal programmability and compatibility with Ethereum Virtual Machine smart contracts to the IPFS incentive layer blockchain.

CryptoComputeLab Proof Release Version 10.0
CryptoComputeLab is proud to release Proofs v10.0.0! A lot has changed internally in this release, but it boils down to additional GPU support options and better performance during certification.
Less obvious highlights include integrating some of our internal dependencies started from other projects' forks back into the upstream source.
This tooling update has several benefits, including getting optimizations from upstream sources as our code diverges over time, and making future updates (such as Halo2 work) more realistic.

This technological integration will accelerate end-to-end ownership of NFTs, and their associated media assets, building decentralized data storage on Flow.

IPLD in WASM
Beneath IPFS is a system called IPLD. It handles all the heavy lifting that IPFS does to store data on-chain and create hash links (what we think of as Content IDs (CIDs)). In its most basic form, Interplanetary Linked Data (IPLD) is a data layer built on top of IPFS. It creates a series of data links, but also allows users to create these links themselves through simple data structures that can be stored on IPFS.

IPFS Incentive Layer Textile Auction
Starting next week, Textile’s Filecoin Deal Auctions will be awarding prizes of 250FIL to the most reputable storage providers over two weeks.
Storage providers can participate in transaction auctions by running a lightweight client called bidbot. To date, storage providers using the system have won and stored over 200TiB.

The Filecoin Rust client Forest created by ChainSafe is officially launched on the mainnet! Bring multi-client diversity to the IPFS incentive layer network . Thanks in part to the questions in the Sigma Prime review and the completion of several MVP features, we're finally ready for developers to install, run, and test our client.
