How to realize the application of external network remote access routing internal server host port?

A router is a common device for surfing the Internet. When we open the network access bandwidth, or when we need to manage routing network operations, we need to log in to the routing background to set up and configure related operations.

We often come across some common questions when it comes to routing management. What is the routing management entry address? How to configure routing wired network or wireless network or assign internal IP? How can computers on the external network also be able to connect to and access the local router, or remotely access the router’s internal server host port application on the external network? Here we organize some related tutorials for your reference.

1. How to log in to router management?

Open the browser and enter http://162.168.1.1 in the address bar to log in. Note that access and login are based on the actual address of the local router.

Different routers have different management addresses (login addresses); some wifi routers have default login passwords and wifi passwords, while others have no default login passwords and wifi passwords. In view of this, please be sure to check the label of your wifi router to confirm the management address, login password and other information. If the address of the account password has been changed, it is recommended to back it up by yourself; if it is a new router device, you can check it directly from the device.

2. How to access the router from the external network?

Scenario 1: When there is a public network

If the WAN port of the router obtains the public network IP, when the web management is enabled in the routing background, when you need to access the external network, you can directly access it through the public network IP port.

Scenario 2: When there is no public network

If the router does not have a public network IP, you can use the corresponding domain name on the external network to access after mapping the domain name through the fast resolution port. The operation method is very simple. On any computer inside the router, install and log in Quick Resolution to add a mapping record, and change the router management login address from the intranet IP to the domain name.

When the mapping is normal, write down the external network address, and then you can use this external network address to access your router in any place where you can access the Internet. The external network address includes domain name and external network port.

3. How to publish the local server port application to the Internet for access without a public network IP?

Map the specific address of the local application scenario, such as the internal network IP port, to the external network through the fast resolution port. Tips before doing quick analysis and mapping for external network access:
first clarify the local application scenario, and first ensure that it can be accessed normally in the LAN. Only when the local application is normal can the mapped external network be accessed normally.
The local application protocol is determined locally. For example, if the local configuration uses the http protocol, http should also be used when mapping external network access.

Step 1: Intranet mapping and external network settings

On the target computer that needs to be accessed from the external network, or on another host computer in the intranet, install and log in to Quick Resolution to add mapping settings. Through this step of mapping configuration, the internal network address is converted into a public network domain name address so that the external network can be accessed.

Step 2: When adding a mapping, fill in the correct mapping information according to your application scenario:

Mapping name: custom, easy to distinguish and mark.

Public port type: Refers to the port used for external network access, which is selected according to the application requirements of your own scene. If the project belongs to the background management system web platform and does not consider the included scene, generally use non-80 to map the external network. If your own website originally uses the http protocol and needs to use a fixed 80 to access from the external network, you can choose to use the 80http mapping method.
Intranet address: Intranet access fixed address. It can be a fixed intranet IP or a computer name. If the mapping is used on the server, it is recommended to fill in the 127.0.0.1 format.

Application port: subject to actual conditions, such as 7001. Do not fill in randomly.

Step 3: Implementation of external network access

After the fast resolution mapping takes effect, it can be accessed through the domain name and external network port number anywhere on the Internet.

When there is no public network IP, use fast resolution to map external network access, convert the private IP address of the internal network into domain name format, and then allow external network access to the internal network computer port application. The application scenarios of intranet mapping to external network are very extensive, such as office OA remote access, external network remote desktop connection to intranet computer, NAS remote access, personal blog building, database cross-network connection, remote printer, etc.

By using fast analysis port mapping, without adding any hardware devices, employees at home and on business trips can remotely access the corresponding services of the enterprise intranet anytime and anywhere without adding hardware devices, and access the company's OA, SVN, FTP, Web, CRM, ERP systems for remote office. Intranet penetration can also help users realize cross-network services such as building websites, databases, and remote printers in the office or at home, connecting remote desktops to intranet hosts, SSH remote, http websites, https site projects, etc.
