Why should I blog and what is the point of blogging?

Why are you writing this blog?

It has been 5 years since I registered a CSDN account. It was in 2018. I can’t remember exactly why I registered for a CSDN account at that time. Just sign up. I was already a junior in that year. As a student majoring in computer science, my professional ability seems to be described in one word, that is "poor", because apart from dealing with the final exam, I usually don't spend time on researching majors. related things, so when I was about to graduate, I was still not sure whether I wanted to engage in a job related to my major.

After registering a CSDN account, I didn’t write a blog much until one year after graduation. I only thought of using it to check relevant information when I encountered any problems. In the past two years, I started blogging intermittently. , wrote very little. I think the most basic reason is that I am too lazy, and the second is that the accumulation of technology is not enough, and I can't think of what to write. But recently I started blogging again, and I want to keep going. The reason is that after working for three years, I may not have actually arrived. I gradually realized that this industry requires continuous learning, especially since I am engaged in Java development. Its ecology is too large, and there are many things to learn.

When I saw this topic "Why blogging and what is the meaning of blogging" on the CSDN Rising Star Program Java track today, I wanted to write such a blog to answer this question from my own perspective.

Why blog?

Let me think back to my original purpose of blogging. When I first started blogging, I found it interesting, because I saw that other bloggers wrote things that many people liked and interacted with. I think it is a very interesting thing. , so I also want to write a blog and share it with you, eager to get likes from others and interact with you. But the reality is different from what I expected. Not many people read my blog, and the quality of the content I write is a bit poor. This also hit me a lot, so I became more and more slack in blogging. Recently, I started to write a blog seriously again. Regardless of whether the content is more or less, I will do a good job of typesetting and try to write some blogs every day. Because now I think this is a very good habit. When I share the technical knowledge I have learned on the blog, I also help myself strengthen it. Looking at the related blogs I wrote, it is also very fast to pick them up.

Secondly, blogging is also urging myself to work hard to learn and master new knowledge, because in the daily project development, when I encounter a certain problem and find a relevant solution on the Internet to solve the problem, I don’t take the time to carefully sort out the criticality of the problem. The principle is that the next time you encounter the same problem, it just changes the form, and you have no impression. But recently, through this way of blogging, to sort out the relevant principles and logic in it, it will deepen a lot of impressions, and because many knowledge points are interrelated, the breadth of my knowledge will be extended.

Finally, let’s talk about the meaning of blogging.

The meaning of blogging

I think the meaning of blogging lies in the individual. Everyone has different pursuits, so the meaning of blogging is also different. But in a word, blogging can improve the technical literacy of a technical person, express the knowledge points as clearly as possible through your own words, and at the same time let yourself settle down to do this, because blogging requires perseverance, It can also be regarded as a marathon of technology transfer and recording. If you take blogging itself as a meaningful thing, so as to gain more knowledge and improve your technical literacy, then the meaning of blogging is to write blogs happily, let it form a virtuous circle, Keep getting a good feedback from it!
