This paper summarizes and records the method of drawing three-dimensional discrete points and fitting the surface.
1. Prepare data
(1) Raw data (stored in an Excel table);
(2) Copy the 3D point data to the Origin table.
2. 3D discrete point parameter setting and drawing
(1) Change columns A, B, and C to X, Y, and Z respectively;
(2) Select all the data and execute the menu function: Drawing → 3D → 3D Scatterplot.
3. Fitting surface parameter setting and drawing
(1) Select the graph and execute the menu function: Analysis → Fitting → Nonlinear Surface Fitting → Open the dialog box: Select the function Gauss2D → Fitting;
