1. Periodicals
Periodicals are books published by periodical publishing units established by law. Periodical publishing units must be approved by the General Administration of Press and Publication to publish periodicals, hold a domestic unified serial publication number, and obtain a "Periodical Publishing License".
Journals are classified according to their grades, which can be divided into two categories: core and non-core. (Our country expressly stipulates that there is only the difference between core and non-core). Since journals are between core and non-core in terms of requirements, cycle, and recognition, we separate them for easy recording.
Therefore, starting from the actual situation of the academic circle, the Zhongzhou Journal Alliance divides domestic academic journals into core, non-core and journals.
1) Core journals
There are five core journals in my country, Nanjing University (CSSCI), CSCD, North Nuclear, Science and Technology Core, and Humanities Core. The scope of these five core recognitions is wider, the degree of recognition decreases in turn, and the requirements for publishing related documents are also decreasing. Whether it is a master's degree or a teacher's evaluation of a title, it is now required to have a core article in hand. • Nantah Core
The database developed by the China Social Science Research Evaluation Center of Nanjing University only includes social science periodicals and is selected every two years.
At present, the Ministry of Education has taken CSSCI data as an important assessment index in the evaluation of national university institutions and bases, achievement awards, project approval, and personnel training, and CSSCI as an important basis for evaluation and review of regions, institutions, academics, disciplines, titles, projects, and achievements.

The libraries of several universities in China are determined according to the citation rate, reprint rate, abstract rate and other indicators of journals. The standards for identifying core journals are also formulated by these university libraries, and the evaluation and entry standards of each school library are also different, which has been widely recognized by the academic community.
In terms of influence, his rank belongs to the more authoritative one among similar divisions. It is the most authoritative academic influence besides NTU Core and China Science Citation Database (CSCD).

It has developed the "Chinese Science and Technology Papers and Citation Database (CSTPCD)" and uses the data in this database to carry out various classification statistics and analysis of China's scientific research output every year. The journals selected by the "China Science and Technology Papers and Citation Database" are called "China Science and Technology Core Journals", also known as "China Science and Technology Papers Statistical Source Journals". 2) Non-core periodicals
Those that are not included in the core are non-core, and are generally called general issues. According to the different departments in charge, it can be divided into provincial periodicals and national periodicals. It should be noted that this division method is only for the convenience of management, and there is no express provision in my country to distinguish between provincial and national levels; in addition, there is no distinction between the two.

Newspapers have no distinction between core and non-core because there is no organization to judge whether they are superior or inferior. In essence, newspapers record the news events of the day (daily), or report industry consultation (industry newspapers). The collection of theoretical articles may be a matter of recent years. Therefore, the industry is more distinguished by its attributes or sponsors. The evaluation of titles may refer to this classification standard.
1) CSSCI Newspaper
Newspapers and periodicals belong to two different systems, and influence each other differently. Among the newspapers, there are two included by CSSCI - the theory edition of "People's Daily" and the theory edition of "Guangming Daily".

(1) Newspapers managed by the first-level units under the national administrative units also belong to the TOP level. · SCI
SCI stands for "Science Citation Index", created by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) in the United States, mainly focusing on theoretical research. SCI includes more than 3,700 core periodicals published around the world in various disciplines of natural sciences such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, agriculture, medicine, forestry, geography, astronomy, life sciences, materials, environment, and engineering technology.
In 1976, ISI introduced the journal citation report (JCR) on the basis of SCI, which provides statistical data that can fully display the number of papers published in scientific journals, their citations, and the average citations of papers. Social Science Citation Index, created by the Institute for Scientific Information. An important journal abstract index database in the field of arts and humanities, founded in 1976, focusing on the fields of literature and art. A&HCI includes about 1,160 periodicals, covering archaeology, architecture, literature, art, religion, philosophy, history and other social science fields.
· NO
Engineering Index is a comprehensive information retrieval journal for consulting literature in the field of engineering technology. EI focuses on engineering applications, but does not include purely theoretical papers. The content includes research results from all engineering disciplines and fields of engineering activity.
EI is an international core journal, mainly divided into conference papers and journal papers. Here is the difference between the two:
The quality of articles is different: the quality of articles in EI journals is higher than that in EI conferences. Therefore, the recognition degree of the two units is also different.
Different international periodical numbers: EI journals officially issued have international periodical numbers.
