What is the reason why the EasyCVR recording threshold configuration does not take effect?

Some users reported that the recording threshold set in the platform does not take effect, causing the disk to be full. In response to this feedback, we immediately conducted a troubleshooting.

EasyCVR is based on the integrated architecture of cloud, edge and terminal, which can support multi-protocol and multi-type device access. In terms of video capabilities, the platform can realize video live broadcast, video recording, playback, retrieval, cloud storage, alarm reporting, voice intercom, electronic map, Clusters, intelligent analysis, and platform cascading, etc. In the function of recording plan, the user can also set the storage time and threshold of the recording, and the recording will be automatically deleted after the expiration to prevent the disk from being full.

Proceed as follows:

1) Check the EasyCVR of the remote login user, and find that the disk space of 48T is almost full;

2) Check the threshold configuration, it is normal, but the log shows that the threshold has not taken effect;

3) After comparing the easycvr.ini configuration file, it is found that the user has not opened the cleaning clock, so the threshold configuration has not taken effect;

4) After modifying it, restart the EasyCVR service;

5) At this point, the recording threshold has taken effect, and the disk usage has returned to normal.

As the security video surveillance market continues to develop in the direction of intelligence, depth, and integration, the EasyCVR platform is also actively expanding rich video functions to provide users with personalized demand solutions. The platform has strong scalability and high openness. It can be used not only as a business platform, but also as a video capability layer to be invoked and integrated.
