Can I pass the PMP exam in 20 days?

To be honest, preparing for the PMP exam in 20 days is a bit difficult, unless you quit your job and concentrate on studying at home. It took me 3 months of intense work to prepare for the exam myself. I worked in JAVA development for 4 years before, and then I had the opportunity to lead a small team of 5 people. Although the project was completed on time, I didn't know how to do things and felt like a wild way. I realize that it is necessary to systematically study management knowledge in order to make better use of management tools. I used my off-duty time to study persistently for about 3 months before I passed the exam once.

Preparing for the PMP exam takes as much time as possible to prepare. Many people work and study at the same time, the preparation time for the exam is too short, and there are too many knowledge points, it will be too late to finish the study. If you take too long to prepare for the exam, you will get tired of studying in the end and your review status will deteriorate. Therefore, it is recommended that about 2 to 4 months before the exam is the most appropriate.

The exam preparation process includes the following steps:

1. Familiarize yourself with the textbook. Be sure to read the textbook, which can help you understand the entire framework structure of project management and familiarize yourself with the knowledge points. Don't think that the book is too thick and you don't want to read it. If you don't even read the book once, no matter how easy the teacher speaks, it will not be easy to leave an impression. When memorizing some key knowledge points, it is recommended to use the method of associative memory. Some knowledge points are similar, so you can use this method to combine them to form a memory chain, which makes it easier to connect knowledge points.

2. Watch the video. After reading the textbook, it does not mean that you can stop watching the video. In order to understand the textbook more thoroughly and solve the questions more smoothly, you must watch the teaching video carefully. Remember to preview before watching, and follow the teacher's train of thought with thinking. After class, I should summarize what I have not mastered and what is weak, and then make a mind map of each chapter, and consult the teacher for what I don’t understand.

3. Brush up on the questions. Because the vast majority of PMP exams are situational questions, not just knowledge points, the exam questions are linked to actual practice, so in the early stage of reviewing the questions, you must analyze the question types, explore the ideas of the questions, and understand the meaning of each question. Knowledge points, and repeated memory for memory errors and confusing knowledge points. In the later stage, you can skip the correct questions as long as you understand what the test points of each question are. You only need to collect wrong questions and vague questions for key analysis. The simulated real test must be done. Many questions will appear in the real test, even if there is no one, it is similar, so you must pay attention to it.
