The real metaverse should be a virtual space with extreme immersion and the simultaneous interaction of thousands of people. Its immersive visual effects require more than 1,000 times the computing power of our present.
In fact, even the existing 3A games require equipment that is a huge threshold for players, not to mention that a set of thin and light AR/VR glasses will carry such a huge computing demand in the future.
Therefore, the cloud game solution is almost the only option for the real metaverse: computing and rendering occur in the cloud, and high-fidelity images are transmitted to players through streaming protocols.
