After the EasyCVR is cascaded, the superior is online, but what is the reason why the display port is unreachable when requesting playback?

EasyCVR has strong scalability, flexible video capabilities, and easy deployment. The mainstream standard protocols that can be supported include national standard GB28181, RTSP/Onvif, RTMP, etc., and support for manufacturers' private protocols and SDK access, including Haikang Ehome, Haidayu and other equipment. SDK, etc. The platform not only has the capabilities of traditional security video surveillance, such as: video surveillance live broadcast, cloud recording, cloud storage, video retrieval and playback, intelligent alarm, platform cascading, PTZ control, voice intercom, etc., but also has access to AI intelligence ability to analyze.

Some users reported that EasyCVR has successfully cascaded to the upper platform, and the upper level shows that it is online. When the upper level sends an invite request to the EasyCVR platform, the EasyCVR platform replies that the ICMP port is unreachable, so it asks us for assistance in troubleshooting. Today I will share the troubleshooting and solution steps.

Methods as below:

1) View the national standard cascading page, you can see that EasyCVR has successfully cascaded to the upper level using TCP;

2) From the analysis of the message, it can be seen that there is no problem with the TCP interaction between EasyCVR and the upper level;

3) Check the invite message sent by the superior, and find that the format sent by the superior is udp interaction;

4) Because the EasyCVR firewall only opens the tcp interaction, not the udp interaction, so here, the user needs to open the udp port, or the superior uses tcp to send the invite message.

The EasyCVR video fusion platform is based on the integrated architecture of cloud, edge and terminal, and has powerful data access, processing and distribution capabilities. It has a wide range of applications, such as smart construction sites, smart parks, smart factories, smart docks, and smart water conservancy. Interested users can go to the demo platform for experience, deployment and testing.
