Does Studio one6 need money? What new features have been added?

Studio One is the result of Pre sounds company's first research and development of host software. During its R&D process, Studio One absorbed the advantages and disadvantages of other host software on the market and made professional research and rectification. The advantages of other host software are improved and integrated, and the shortcomings are discarded or optimized. Studio One 6 is a powerful music arrangement software that can help you realize music creation with flexible chord track function.

Studio One is a powerful arranger software, and also a host software that can complete a series of processes such as recording, editing, mixing, and mastering through intuitive operations. At the same time, it is also one of the very cost-effective arranger software. It supports VST2, VST3, AU and other functions, allowing Audio and MIDI signals to be converted in different host software. As mentioned above, different arranger software has some differences in specific functions, and cross-software collaboration of arranger can be easily completed.

Different arranger software has different functions, resulting in some differences, but most professional arranger software needs to have some basic functions. Next, I will share with you some basic functions commonly used in composer software.

1. Playback and recording functions

It is one of the most basic functions of the composition software. During the composition process, recording sound materials requires repeated audition and modification.

2. Channel rack function

One of the core functions of arranging, the process of arranging is a process of integrating different musical elements. Arranging software needs to manage these music elements, so it needs a platform to arrange these music elements, and the channel rack is such a platform.

3. Editing and writing functions

All ideas need to be visualized to form a work. For example, a melody needs to express the notes in it with sound, so what kind of sound, what instrument, and what kind of timbre should be used to express it. This requires editing and writing in the arrangement software.

4. Mixer function

It is a very important link in the process from mix arrangement to finished product. Arrangement is not simply stacking all kinds of music. The detailed control of each music and the interaction of different musical elements need to be completed through the mixing console.

5. Effect host function

Effects are one of the necessary tools in the composition process. In order to enhance the competitiveness of the software, major composition software will integrate some effects, but it is more important to have the function of being the host of other effect plug-ins.

In addition to the basic functions mentioned above, different arranger software has different differentiated functions, such as sound correction and noise reduction, sequencer, effector, mastering and so on.
