Since the old version of Visio does not have ER templates, in order to use it for ER drawing better and more conveniently, we take the following steps (reminder: I am using Microsoft Office Visio 2007)
1. First open a basic flowchart template drawing
After the template is opened, you can see the shapes contained in the template on the left. In the basic flow chart shape, add rectangle and rhombus to my shape, and create a new mold named ER diagram
2. Open the ORM chart template drawing in the software and database
After the template is opened, you can see the shapes contained in the template on the left. In the ORM diagram shape, add the ellipse and line and the borderless input box (frequency constraint) to my shape in the ER diagram mold
3. Create a new blank template
It can be seen that there is no shortcut shape to use, click file----"shape----"my shape----"ER diagram
It's ready to use! ! ! !
