Modify the file extension
We can disguise the content of the file by modifying the file extension, such as modifying a word document to a txt file, and the file will be garbled after opening. If we want to view the file, we only need to modify the file extension to the original format.
Encrypted compressed package
We can compress files and folders into a compressed package file, and encrypt the compressed package when compressing the file, which also achieves the purpose of encrypting the file. For example, use WinRAR to compress and encrypt files, right-click to select the file, compress it through WinRAR, choose to set a password, and enter the password of the compressed package.
Encrypting Software
At present, there are also many encryption software that can provide file encryption, and can support more file formats for encryption. For example, Okaifeng's minimalist encryption supports limiting the number of times the file is opened after encryption, and can decrypt it with one click while ensuring that the account remains unchanged.
Windows Encryption
Windows comes with an encryption function, but I don't recommend using this encryption function. It has many restrictions, and the file cannot be decrypted due to the replacement of the system. The encryption method is as follows:

Tick Encrypt content to protect data and set a password.
