EPUB
ePub (short for Electronic Publication, electronic publishing) is a free and open standard, which belongs to a kind of content that can be "automatically rearranged"; that is, text content can be displayed in the most suitable way for reading according to the characteristics of the reading device. EPub files internally use XHTML or DTBook (an XML standard proposed by the DAISY Consortium) to display text, and package the file content in a zip compression format. The EPub format includes digital rights management (DRM) related functions for selection. EPub became an official standard of the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF) in September 2007 to replace the old open Open eBook e-book standard.
