[Operation Tutorial] How to manually configure the Onvif detection function of the EasyNVR security video cloud service platform?

EasyNVR security video cloud service platform can support devices to access the platform through RTSP/Onvif protocol. Users can use the Onvif detection function to detect the device IP of the camera, and return the required video stream address after success. At the same time, it can also realize the PTZ pan/tilt of the camera. Control, the function is very flexible and powerful.

Some users reported that the Onvif device cannot be detected by the EasyNVR platform, so for this situation, we can also implement device access, video playback, and PTZ control through manual configuration. The specific operation steps are as follows:

1) Open the ONVIF Device Test Tool, select the network card and enter the account password for manual detection;

2) If the parameters of IP Address and Type appear, it means normal, click Debug;

3) After entering Debug, select PTZ PTZ, get the URL, and click Get after getting it successfully;

4) After Get, it normally returns 200 OK. If it returns 401, it means that the password is wrong or there are other security verifications. You need to find the equipment manufacturer to check and troubleshoot;

5) Copy the obtained Device Service Address and fill it into the Onvif detection of the EasyNVR platform;

6) Fill in the connection address with the regular address of the same type of equipment (here is a Haikang equipment, other equipment can be searched for successful cases to copy);

7) After the configuration is completed, save it. At this time, the PTZ control and video playback can be successfully performed on the EasyNVR platform, as shown in the figure:

EasyNVR is a video platform based on RTSP/Onvif protocol access, which supports the distribution of accessed video streams on all platforms and terminals, including RTSP, RTMP, HTTP-FLV, WS-FLV, HLS, WebRTC, etc. In terms of application, EasyNVR can be used in scenarios such as smart factories, smart construction sites, smart parks, and smart ports. Interested users can go to the demonstration platform for experience or deployment testing.
