Motianlun selected the top 40 database products with annual average scores in 2022, and summarized the data of 38 measurement indicators into vision completeness (the measurement indicators mainly include academic achievements, tripartite evaluation, ecology, database technology, etc.) and execution ability ( Its measurement indicators mainly include two dimensions: leaderboard performance in 2022, Gartner database magic quadrant, market share, etc.), and according to the performance of each supplier, it is divided into four categories: leaders, challengers, specific domains and visionaries quadrants.

The report was jointly written by Motianlun and industry experts and scholars. The editorial board (including 20 editorial board members, dozens of industry experts, and 17 guidance units) wrote a 127-page document after more than 60 days of hard work. "2022 Motianlun Database Survey Report"
In order to further ascertain the development situation of domestic databases, Motianlun began to collect large database survey questionnaires in 2022. The survey collection time was 24 days, and a total of 4,801 valid questionnaires were collected, and 1,325 invalid data were eliminated. The number of questionnaires is 3476. The survey aims to provide a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the current situation of the database industry and its practitioners, database selection, and the development trend of Chinese databases, etc., hoping to provide reference materials for relevant government departments, practitioners and the database industry.

掌门人齐聚一堂 共论行业发展之道
最后迎来了本次盛典的重磅环节——第二届数据库掌门人论坛。由云和恩墨创始人&墨天轮社区发起者盖国强担任主持人，来自华为云数据库、OceanBase、PingCAP 、星环科技、亚信、涛思数据、优炫软件、镜舟科技的八位国产数据库的掌门人及大咖齐聚一堂，围绕各厂商的技术实践、发展愿景以及行业生态建设与未来发展路径等主题展开了深入探讨。
在围绕未来数据库发展方向以及国产数据库如何谋求发展新路径的问题上，各位掌门人均提出了深刻精辟的见解。
涛思数据创始人&CEO 陶建辉认为，未来的技术将会朝着两个方向发展，对应到数据库领域则是云上与极小方向，两者皆有挑战与创新价值。云服务有着无限的网络、算力、存储的优势资源，TDengine也持续在云上发力，半年前已经上线了Serverless服务，在本次发布会上，陶建辉也透露在未来的一个月，TDengine也将带来云上的新突破。
北京优炫软件董事长梁继良认为Serverless是未来的发展方向，同时国内应该继续走好国产化替代的路径，重视技术创新。中国有广阔的数据库市场，各厂商应当减少内卷与价格战，共同呵护市场的健康发展。
PingCAP 副总裁刘松谈到，数据库的赛道很长，在发展时要兼顾内涵与外延。内涵解决的是深度的问题，例如核心交易系统的稳定性；外延则是解决广度问题，如技术无感化。AI 与云将是未来发展的关键词，数据库在未来发展中如何兼顾两者？刘松也给出了答案：即开放的技术架构与开源体系，开放的技术架构能够与新技术做融合，让数据库内核的优势性得到更多的关注，同时开源体系能够融汇多家之长，推动数据库技术更好发展。
亚信安慧副总裁张桦认为稳定可靠是数据库的基本功，抛开其谈技术创新则是无源之水，无根之木。他认为数据库在未来需要帮助客户更好更高效地获取数据信息，其次是让企业级与国家级信息更好的融合，消除不同技术架构之间的壁垒。最后他也总结了未来技术的两个发展方向，向上是技术之间的融合，向下是追求更高的效率。
华为云数据库服务产品部副部长庄乾锋认为，在国产数据库快速发展的背景下，中国数据库厂商应当加强对数据库高可靠、高可用、强一致、高性能等方面根技术的工程实现打磨，加快生态建设的发展，来满足行业客户对通用数据库的平滑替换诉求。当前华为云的云原生已经从On Cloud发展到In Cloud阶段，并将AI、HTAP、Serverless、多模等多种技术结合云原生架构融合统一，最终我们是希望在云原生时代，重新解构传统数据库架构和技术实现，让云原生数据库给客户带来极致弹性、全域可用、极简体验。此外，他认为新硬件技术、AI的发展，未来不仅仅能对数据库性能、运维带来提升，甚至会颠覆现有架构，重新定义数据库。
针对数据库在未来发展方向，OceanBase CTO杨传辉提出 “继承”与“创新” 两个关键词。首先在用户最关心的高性能与稳定易用方面，中国数据库有很长的路要走。“云”作为未来的趋势，数据库与其相融合的过程中，仍然需要不断地继承与创新。云上数据库的高昂价格是其一大痛点，这就需要继承过去Oracle 、SQL Server产品上的精细调优，逐渐实现云数据库产品的高性价比。
星环科技联合创始人刘汪根谈到，数据库行业能够生存的根本原因是解决了用户当前的核心业务价值问题。过去三年，硬件技术推动着数据库的发展，在此过程中星环始终关注用户层面的“平滑性”与开发者层面的“兼容性”，他认为数据库的体系化需要持续迭代才能应对高可用与持续性的挑战。
镜舟科技CEO孙文现认为易用性与稳定性是商业数据库必须要解决的问题，两者有着不可替代的价值。“性价比“是过去中国企业走向海外的一大优势，在未来，数据库行业也需要极致追求降本，降低对人力、资源以及成本的依赖，这是数据库行业迭代的方向。在谈到未来的技术发展时，孙文现表示AI技术帮助我们创造了易用性的工具，但DBA的职位却无法被替代，他们能够解决代码的熵增与调优等问题。因此他认为AI技术趋势下，数据库行业将整体向好发展。
