There are two ways to solve the problem of freezing when the ape master VLC player program plays RTSP surveillance video from Hikvision, Dahua, Huawei and other cameras in a high-version Chrome browser.
First open the installation directory of Yuandamaster software and find the following files. Plugins 》VLCWebPlayer》Config.json
The first one: increase the playback cache, position 1 in the above picture.
The default cache is 1000. If you play multi-channel or high-definition video, you can increase it to 3000 or even 5000. The higher the cache, the smoother the video, but the delay will increase.
If you want to reduce the delay as much as possible for single-channel playback, you can reduce the cache to 200-300. The lower the cache, the lower the delay, but it may freeze, depending on your computer hardware configuration.
The second method: Please modify the network mode, the position in Figure 2 above.
If you increase the cache and still get stuck, it may be a problem with the network mode, 0 means HTTP connection, 1 means TCP connection, please change to another one and test playback.
Note: After modifying any configuration, you must restart the ape master middleware, click InstallWrl.bat to restart.
