Eclipse encoding format setting tutorial, how to set the encoding format for eclipse?

If you want to enable the plug-in development application to have better internationalization support and to support Chinese output to the greatest extent, it is best to use UTF-8 encoding for Java files.

So how to set it up?

1. In window -> Preferences -> general -> Workspac -> Text file encoding

, select Other and change the encoding to UTF-8, so that the Text file encoding in the properties dialog of the newly created project will be UTF-8.





2. window -> Preferences -> general -> Content Types

, select the Text tree, click it, select Java Source File, enter UTF-8 in the Default encoding input box below, and press the Update button to set the Java file encoding to UTF -8.
