The V5.0 version of the LEPUS open source database monitoring system was officially released

The V5.0 version of the LEPUS open source database monitoring system was officially released. Lepus 5.0 fully adopts Golang language development to replace the previous PHP and Python languages, making installation and deployment easier. Message component, task scheduling component, alarm component, support for user-defined reporting of data and configuration of alarm rules, built-in health monitoring and performance monitoring of MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and GreatSQL databases.

The main features of Lepus 5.0 version:

  • Developed using golang language, high-performance data collection and interaction.
  • The deployment is simple, no Agent is required to collect monitoring indicators, and it is suitable for the monitoring of components such as databases in the cloud.
  • It is easy to use, with multiple built-in collectors and alarm rules, and you can start monitoring after deployment without any template.
  • The core sensitive data is encrypted with AES and salt, which is more secure.
  • A high-performance real-time event engine based on golang's NSQ, transmits event messages in real time, and supports MySQL and InfluxDB as the underlying event data storage.
  • Supports custom message event collection and reporting, and supports custom alarm rules.
  • Based on the current limiting and risk control mechanism of Redis, you can customize the number of alarms and sleep time to avoid the flood of alarms.
  • Built-in lightweight database metadata management system for machines, components, clusters, hosts, IDCs, environments, etc.
  • Built-in MySQL, Oracle, GreatSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Web and many other collectors and performance dashboards, you can start monitoring after deployment. (Other collectors will be developed and integrated in subsequent versions.)
