Why do we always fail to act? You failed because of poor ability? How can we achieve our plan?

How can we realize our plan?

The meal should be taken one bite at a time, and the food should be done little by little. Many young people are so ambitious that they want to run before they learn to walk. Failure is not because of poor ability, but because of the deviation of the set goals.

In life, many people like to set goals and make plans, but they always end in failure. So, how can we achieve our plan?

Why the plan is perfect, but we still can't act?

1. Motivation is not strong enough

We often say that there must be a reason behind an action, and the reason here is the motive. Motivation is the direct cause of activities, and various human actions are carried out towards a certain goal under the action of motivation.

Motivation can motivate a person to produce a certain behavior and act as the initiator for the behavior . In addition, motivation also maintains an individual's behavior. But if the motivation does not reach a certain strength,

It cannot inspire or sustain an action.

When I was in college, there were always a few girls around me, who shouted "No, I want to become a lady" every day, but they were still sloppy every day.

But one day, suddenly a real lady got up. It was really an instant thing. She put on high heels and skirts, and her movements were not careless. When I ask, it turns out that it is the power of love, and it really is a woman who pleases herself.

2. Goals are too high

Although failure is the mother of success, people always move forward better in the sense of accomplishment, not the sense of frustration.

Take weight loss as an example, if you shout as soon as you come up, I want to lose 20 pounds in a month. This is often really just an empty slogan.

Losing 20 pounds is easier said than done, and it's still within a month. Even if you managed to lose 4 pounds in the first week, thinking about the distant 20 pounds, it's hard not to give up.

Aiming too high can make us timid, withdraw, and give up.

3. The goal is not focused

Having multiple goals at once, or changing goals every other day, will only distract you.

I have read an article on POA action force before, which defines action force as: action force = P*A/O, P is the partner partner, A is the acceleration acceleration, we call it the method, and O is the objective goal. Too many goals can stifle your ability to act.

4, autonomy difference

There are two aspects to self-discipline: one is to do what you should do, even if you don’t want to; the other is to not do what you shouldn’t do, even if you really want to.

The poor self-discipline mentioned here should be the first type of mapping, to do what should be done, even if it is not what you want.

People with poor self-discipline cannot control themselves. Although they know they should do it, they indulge themselves not to act.

So, what type of people are prone to lack of mobility?

1. High emotional

People with high emotionality have great mood swings, are prone to nervousness, anxiety, worry, and are particularly sensitive to criticism and negative feedback.

On the one hand, people with high emotionality are always overly worried, afraid of what will happen if they do, or always worry about all kinds of surprises in the process of action. After thinking about it after worrying, it's okay, it's nothing.

On the other hand, people with high emotionality are relatively sensitive and easily influenced, which will cause the goal to sway from side to side, and finally do nothing well.

2. People who are organized and precise

People who are too organized and precise require everything to be organized and meticulous. For example, when making plans, they must be clear about how to do each step and what outcome each choice will produce. Their energies are focused on making plans.

While it is wise to think deeply to guide action, if you think too much, it will limit your actions. After all, action is only the beginning.

How to motivate yourself to act?

1. Choose a target

If you want to learn this one today and another tomorrow, you will end up learning nothing. Pick a goal, take action, and don't be influenced by others.

Don't make plans too harsh

Too strict a plan will increase the psychological pressure and reduce the joy of action. And if you don't go according to plan, it will take a toll on your confidence.

2. Positive hints

Although failure is the mother of success, people always move forward better in the sense of accomplishment, not the sense of frustration.

When you are on a weight loss plan, even if you only lose 2 pounds, you can give yourself a positive hint: It's great, you're getting closer to your goal.

3. Time management

Before going to bed or getting up in the morning, make a list of your study or work plans for tomorrow/today, etc.

Of course, having action doesn't necessarily mean you can achieve what you want, action is just the beginning.

There are really some things in this world that you can't see clearly with your current vision. You have to take two steps first. If you don't move forward, you can only stay where you are or even go backwards.
