How to separate merged cells in excel table? How to restore?

1. As shown below;

   A1:B2 This area is merged cells

   

2. How to unmerge the merged cells and restore four cells?

   First, click the merge area with the mouse; select it,

   

3. Then click the merge icon in this group of alignment of the start tab,

   As shown below.

   

4. Look, the original merged cell has been restored to four cells.

   

5. There is another way,

   Select the merged area; then press CTRL+1 to bring up the cell formatting panel.

   

6. Click on the align option;

   Uncheck the "Merge Cells" below.

   Click the check mark to cancel.

   Click OK again.

   

7. Look, the original merged area is immediately restored to four cells.
