Customize Toolbar

In the Safari browser app on the Mac, do any of the following:

Change items in the toolbar: Choose View> Customize Toolbar, then drag to add, remove, and rearrange toolbar items. For example, you can add an "iCloud Tabs" button to display a list of web pages opened on other devices that have Safari opened in iCloud preferences.

Quickly rearrange toolbar buttons: Hold down the Command key, then drag the button to the right or left. This shortcut key does not apply to the "Back/Forward", "Sidebar", "Home", "History" or "Download" buttons, or the smart search bar.

Adjust the size of the toolbar: If you see angle brackets at the right end of the toolbar, it means that the window is too small to display all the toolbar items. Enlarge the window or click the brackets to see the remaining items.

Remove toolbar items: Hold down the Command key, then drag the item out of the toolbar.

Show or hide the toolbar in full screen view: In full screen view, choose View> "Always show toolbar in full screen."
