How to deal with the folders and files in the iCloud cloud disk? iCloud Drive is displayed in the "Finder" sidebar, where you can select it to view its content. The system will automatically create folders for apps that support iCloud disks (such as preview, text editing, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote presentations). It also includes folders you create and files stored or moved to iCloud Drive or its folders.
If you select "Desktop and Document Folder" in iCloud preferences, iCloud Drive also contains your desktop and document folders.
You can also use iCloud Drive on iCloud.com through a web browser on a Mac or Windows computer.

Add document to folder
After iCloud "Desktop and Document Folder" is opened, your folders and files will be displayed in the "Finder" window with a status indicator next to the folder or file name.
You can create folders within these folders, but each App folder can only contain documents that the App can open. For example, the "Preview" folder can contain PDF and other types of image files, but not movie or music files.
1. On Mac, select "iCloud Drive" in the "Finder" sidebar.
2. Drag the document to the App folder in iCloud Drive.
[Prompt] When you store a new document in the App or open a document, you can use iCloud Drive. Just select "iCloud Drive" in the "Save" dialog box or the "Open" dialog box (appears after you choose "File"> "Save" or "File"> "Open").
Download items stored only in iCloud Drive to Mac
In some cases, items may be stored in iCloud Drive, but have not yet been downloaded to the Mac.
1. Hold down the Control key and tap the item you want to download (indicated by the iCloud status icon).
2. Select "Download Now".
After downloading the project to your Mac, you can start working on it without an internet connection.
Move items to Mac and remove items from iCloud Drive
On the Mac, drag the item from the iCloud Drive to another folder on the Finder sidebar or on the desktop, such as "Downloads", "Movies", "Music", and "Pictures".
The project will be copied to the Mac and removed from iCloud Drive on all devices with iCloud set up. If you change your mind, you can drag the item back to iCloud Drive.
