I usually use Spotify abroad the most. The advantage is that it only focuses on listening, with low rates (Philippines, 20 yuan/quarter) and fast songs online. Straightforward, I really like the appearance of this software. Since I usually still use YouTube's music software YouTube Music desktop, at first glance, the UI of YesPlayMusic is completely unfamiliar.

The same modular layout as Apple Music, with excellent system integration; recommendations for different playlists (Apple Music playlists are also recommended by default, which can be turned off in the settings); completely no redundancy function , support system-level Dark Mode/Light Mode Synchronize and view lyrics, etc.
As a third-party NetEase cloud client, this software supports logging in to the NetEase cloud music account, reading the user's saved playlist information, and also supports direct playback of MVs, etc., with comprehensive functions.
In terms of sound quality, the user can select the default sound quality of the song in the settings: there are four options for normal (128Kbps), high (192Kbps), extremely high (320Kbps) and lossless (FLAC) .
Since the lossless sound quality is exclusive to NetEase Cloud Vinyl VIP, I also used a non-VIP account for testing. The result is that the account also has optional lossless sound quality, but it is not clear whether it can listen to FLAC sound quality songs without VIP.
YesPlayMusic can also be used in conjunction with the Touch Bar of MacBook Pro to facilitate operations such as switching, pausing and playing. There are also various custom settings in the settings, which can be adjusted according to needs.
Music library
The author of this software stated that YesPlayMusic incorporates the UnblockNeteaseMusic plug-in, which can automatically use QQ/Kugou/Kuowo sound sources to replace the sound sources of grayed-out songs, which is equivalent to combining all the non-exclusive sound sources of several large platforms in China. As for the specific ones, Songs need to be known.
However, it is essentially just a NetEase cloud client, so like some other music platform exclusive resources, you still can't listen to it on this software.
Take the Divide album by British singer Ed Sheeran as an example. This album requires VIP subscription to listen to it on QQ Music and NetEase Cloud Music, so it will be grayed out on YesPlayMusic. (Unless subscribed to NetEase Cloud Music VIP)
The same is true for Jay Chou's album, because NetEase Cloud Music currently does not have the resources of Jay Chou's songs.

This software is open source on GitHub and supports the three major platforms of Windows, macOS and Linux. I personally believe that the biggest advantage of this software is that it removes the social features of "Wang Yiyun" that many people complain about from the software, giving users a more refreshing user experience.
