How to use HomePod to set up alarms?

Since we are basically only using Siri, the steps to set up an alarm are the same regardless of the firmware running on the HomePod and HomePod Mini models.

Use HomePod to set up alarms

1. Use the voice command with the similar phrase "Hey, Siri, set the alarm to 6 AM". Or "Hey Siri, wake me up at 5 tomorrow morning.". If you want to set an alarm for a specific day, you can say "Hey Siri, set an alarm for 7 AM every Monday."

  1. Siri will reply with a message like "Your alarm is scheduled for 6 o'clock tomorrow morning." Or "I have set your alarm to 5 AM tomorrow." Confirm that the alarm is configured.

Now, Siri will play the alarm sound at the specified time, which can be stopped using the voice command "Hey, Siri, turn off the alarm". Or, you can quickly mute the alarm (if it is nearby) by simply tapping on the top of the HomePod.

Use HomePod to delete alarms

If you accidentally create an alert and want to delete it, it's as easy as setting up.

1. You can use the voice command "Hey Siri, delete 6 AM alarm." If you want to delete a specific alarm. Or, if you want to clear the alarm list, use the command "Hey, Siri, delete all alarms".

  1. Siri will reply "I deleted your 6 AM alert.". However, if you try to delete multiple alerts, Siri will ask for your permission, and you can simply say "Yes" to confirm.
