Not only the education, but the people and things you come into contact with are far less impressive than imagined.
This article is not written to complain, nor is it to complain. Xiaolu is not a complainer, because complaining does not solve the problem, so how the Xiaolu lives in this kind of circle and environment must be everyone's most interested. I remember when I was a sophomore, I was a competitive person before. I always had a sense of justice and positive energy. I couldn’t understand others sneaking around behind the scenes. So before I wrote, I always complained about unfairness, Complain that it is unfair. Until something made me change my views and practices.
The school always provides subsidies such as scholarships every year. You said that the tuition fees of the three schools are so expensive, and this policy is also quite good. It relieves the pressure on some students in need. However, the reality is not like this. I commented that the bursary is not based on the poverty level, and the unspoken rules of average do academic performance, because some of my classmates are really poor. When I voted, I voted for these people, but, the number of votes is large. It's not really poor people, but people who don't lack these thousands of dollars in academic performance, and even take what is on their own for a small position.
Indeed, my current academic performance is also in the top few, but there is no competition, thinking that these will be given to some people in need, but after the results come out, there are 10,000 MMPs. People who do not need good grades do get their hands. Some people say that with good grades, of course they are eligible to compete, regardless of whether they need it or not. I really regretted it and wanted to win it down and give it to those who really need it in life.
This incident made me reflect on it for too long, and since then, I have seen through the environment of this school, and I have also seen through some people. Talk about righteousness, fairness, and justice. So there is one sentence that reminds me in my heart that whenever I complain about unfairness, I always say a sentence to myself, "Only the weak will pursue fairness"!
When I took up a pen to write and a book to start reading in my sophomore year, I decided to change myself, because I would never try to change others. It would be really stupid if I tried to change others, because I was from when I was stupid. Coming here, I have a deep understanding.
So in a short period of one year, I realized the benefits of changing myself, broadened my horizons, increased my self-cultivation, communicated with and studied with excellent people around me, and sincerely accepted and corrected the mistakes made by others. You are comfortable in interpersonal communication. I also saw many excellent people on the Internet. I saw that there is still a lot of need for you to learn and improve. Be humble, not arrogant or impetuous.
Before going to university, I still wanted to get a scholarship to compare with outstanding people, but the reality is reality after all. I did get the scholarship, but it seems that I was lowered. why? To be honest, there is a lot of water behind the scholarship. Some people do whatever it takes to get the scholarship. I think such a competitor is too worthy of others’ respect, because it’s not their own strength, meaningless, see through it, if the scholarship is really for the hundreds of dollars Money, to be honest, has no meaning at all. So I put the direction of my efforts on writing and reading, because these are things that others can't compete, and because of these, I have gained knowledge that the school can't learn.
I remember reading the first ancient essay of "The Tao Te Ching" before. Lao Tzu said that everything should be natural and conform to the law of development of things. The result of development, the cycle of history, is the great road. So if you don't fight or grab, it's yours forever, and you don't use means to fight if you aren't. This is the right way of life.
