Through a complete set of AI health management technology architecture, Huami Technology will be committed to building a new health infrastructure platform and restructuring the global health and medical industry.

Artificial Intelligence Research Institute was established with AI as the technical fulcrum

The highlight of the AI Innovation Conference is the official upgrade of Huami Technology Artificial Intelligence Laboratory to Huami AI Research. The dean of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute is Wang Kongqiao, vice president of Huami Technology. Famous intelligent research expert, "Father of Multimedia Computing" (Father of Multimedia Computing), Professor Ramesh Jain of the University of California, Europe, was invited to serve as the research consultant. Wu Feng, assistant to the president of the University of Science and Technology of China and director of the National Engineering Laboratory of Brain-inspired Intelligence Technology and Application, serves as the chairman of the expert committee of the Institute.

At present, the Institute has established three joint laboratories: the wrist smart wearable joint laboratory with the team of Academician Zhong Nanshan will jointly promote the application of smart wearable products in respiratory health management and the transformation of results in the future; and China The Track and Field Sports Joint Laboratory of the Athletics Association will conduct research on expert athletes and ordinary sports enthusiasts based on wearable devices using AI algorithm models and big data analysis technology; and the brain-computer intelligence of the Institute of Advanced Technology of the University of Science and Technology of China The joint laboratory will further develop non-invasive and invasive brain-computer interface research.

In addition, the research institute also announced that it has reached a strategic cooperation with intelligent voice unicorn Yunzhisheng, and will jointly develop smart voice assistants that can be applied to watches. In the future, it will also carry out all-round cooperation in the fields of automobiles, medical care, and IoT.

Huang Wang, founder, chairman and CEO of Huami Technology, emphasized that the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute aims to bring together top experts from different disciplines to devote itself to the innovation of core artificial intelligence technologies related to health big data and explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence. Vertical applications in the wearable field. At the same time, it will carry out cutting-edge technology exploration and innovation in areas such as health big data mining, smart medical care, and brain-computer interfaces.

"Huangshan No. 2" four seasons measure atrial fibrillation recognition faster and power consumption halved

After more than 450 days of hard work, Huami Technology's new generation of smart wearable chip "Huangshan No. 2" is finally released.

"No. 2" is still based on the advanced RISC-V architecture, which has the advantages of high computing efficiency and low power consumption. Its atrial fibrillation recognition speed is 7 times that of the previous generation and 26 times that of other software algorithms on the market. At the same time, an ultra-low power sensor AON mode has been added, and it is equipped with a C2 coprocessor like Apple. In theory, it can reduce its overall power consumption by 50%, allowing users to completely bid farewell to battery life anxiety.

At present, "Huangshan No. 2" has been successful, and it is expected to measure production in the four seasons of this year. In the first half of next year (2021), new wearable products equipped with "Huangshan No. 2" will also be available.

Heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep biological data engine collectively unveiled

Heart health has always been the focus of Huami Technology. At this conference, Huami Technology launched the new AI heart rate engine RealBeatsTM 2, which can effectively eliminate the noise interference to the heart rate signal during exercise. The effective atrial fibrillation monitoring time at night and during the day has reached 1.87 times and that of the previous generation. 6.64 times; also successfully realized the AI automatic detection of reentrant tachycardia and frequent supraventricular premature beats, and the accuracy rate is very high.

Oxygen saturation is also an important indicator of health status. Through 2 years of independent research and development, Huami Technology has created the oxygen data AI engine-OxygenBeatsTM. The oxygen drop experiment is used to verify the accuracy of the algorithm. The results show that the success rate can reach 100%, and the similar products on the market are less than 90%; the average error of the detection results with professional oxygen meters is only 1.67%, which is more accurate than most Blood oxygen detection algorithm for wrist wearable devices.

Huang Wang revealed that based on the previous cooperation, Huami Technology will also work with the Zhong Nan Hospital team to use OxygenBeatsTM's high-precision oxygen detection capabilities to carry out rehabilitation and follow-up of patients with new coronary pneumonia. Smart watches equipped with this engine are expected to be released in the third quarter of this year (2020) at the earliest.

At the same time, Huami Technology also released the sleep data AI engine SomnusCareTM. This algorithm can realize the accurate recognition of the sleep state. The sleep data detection accuracy exceeds 80%, and it can detect the time exceeding 25% with nearly 100% accuracy. Minutes of nap data.

At the same time, in response to the "invisible killer" sleep apnea syndrome that seriously endangers health, Huami Technology combined with OxygenBeatsTM oxygen engine can perform in-depth analysis from the two dimensions of sleep state determination and oxygen saturation detection to achieve comprehensive sleep apnea syndrome. Intelligent identification of the disease, and promptly remind to take necessary medical measures.

Previously, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Huami Technology had established a set of predictive models for the incidence of epidemics by using a biological data engine, combined with external factors such as weather, seasons, and historical cycles. With the comprehensive upgrade of the biological data engine, future epidemic prediction and even early warning capabilities will also become part of the new health infrastructure platform.

ExerSenseTM + huami-PAITM opens a new mode of sports intelligence

The changes brought about by AI are also reflected in sports. Huami Technology has launched ExerSenseTM, an AI recognition engine for physical activity patterns based on big data analysis of sports and occupancy. The engine can intelligently judge the user's current exercise status and automatically match the exercise mode. At present, it can automatically recognize 19 exercise modes such as walking, running, cycling, and swimming, which can cover 95% of users' daily exercise scenes.

Based on the same intelligent concept is the human health assessment system huami-PAITM. The system is based on user rate data, combined with activity time per day and multi-dimensional human body data, and converted into a more intuitive PAI value through algorithms, helping users intelligently grasp the amount of exercise per day. It can also create a personalized health assessment system based on personalized data such as age, gender, and resting rate of users.

According to the results of the HUNT Fitness Study, keeping the PAI value above 100 will help reduce the risk of death from tube diseases and increase life expectancy. The research was led by Professor Ulrik Wisloff from the Norwegian School of Science and Technology, and lasted more than 35 years, involving more than 230,000 participants.

In addition, at this AI Innovation Conference, Huami Technology also launched a new generation of BioTracker™2 PPG biological tracking optical sensor.

Compared with the previous generation, BioTrackerTM 2 can support up to five biological data engines (RealBeatsTM, OxygenBeatsTM, SomnusCareTM, ExerSenseTM, huami-PAITM). It is also the human biosensor with the richest functions and the highest detection accuracy ever developed by Huami Technology. . Supported by the powerful AI computing performance of the upcoming "Huangshan No. 2" chip, BioTrackerTM 2 may become the world's most powerful wearable human optical sensor.
