1. On a Mac, select one or more items, and then press the space bar.

The "Quick View" window opens. If multiple items are selected, the first item will be displayed.

2. In the "Quick View" window, please perform any of the following operations:

Resize the window: Drag the corners of the window. Or click the "Full Screen" button in the upper left corner of the "Quick View" window. To exit the full screen, move the pointer to the bottom of the window, and then click the "Exit Full Screen" button that appears.

Enlarge and reduce items: Press Command-Plus (+) to enlarge the image or Command-Minus (–) to reduce the image.
Rotate an item: Click the "Rotate Left" button or hold down the Option key, then click the "Rotate Right" button. Tap repeatedly to continue rotating items.

Trim audio or video items: Click the Trim button, then drag the yellow handle on the trim bar. To test the changes, click Play. To trim again, click "Revert". When you’re ready to save your changes, click Done, then choose to replace the original file or create a new file.
Browse items (if multiple items are selected): Click the arrow near the top left of the window, or press the left arrow key or the right arrow key. In full screen view, tap the "Play" button to view the project as a slide show.
Show items in the grid (if multiple items are selected): Click the "Index Table" button or press Command-Return.
Open the project: Click "Open with [App]".
Share the project: Click the "Share" button, then choose how you want to share the project.
3. When finished, press the space bar or click the "Close" button to close the "Quick View" window.

When you open a live photo in the "Quick View" window, the video portion of the photo will automatically play. To view it again, tap "Live Photo" in the lower left corner of the photo.
