But for developers familiar with the Bitcoin scripting language (the programming language used in the Bitcoin protocol), this does not seem to be the case. After the upgrade, some people say that it is difficult to find developers who are fully familiar with the Bitcoin scripting language.

nChain is a company founded by a former banker of Macquarie Securities, which mainly provides "enterprise-level" blockchain solutions for the banking, capital markets and healthcare industries. In the past year, Shadders said that nChain's Bitcoin development team has increased from 20 to 80, and plans to recruit more.

The Bitcoin scripting language is similar to Forth. It is a high-level stack-based programming language. To become an expert in the Bitcoin scripting language requires a lot of training, but Shadders thinks it is worth it, because "there are too few experts in professional fields", so everyone has the opportunity to "become a pioneer."
