Network penetration/dynamic networking/remote operation and maintenance video cloud gateway EasyNTS networking platform, why does it fail to start?

In the previous blog post, we briefly talked about how to use the EasyNTS cloud gateway: how to enable the video networking service function and how to configure the device . The technical staff of TSINGSEE Qingxi Video found that the customer's EasyNTS server could not be started and the service could not be started while remotely operating to the customer.

Through the communication with the user, we learned that the user changed the device port, but this was not the reason for the login. Then we guessed that the user modified the configuration error, which caused the startup to fail, but the inspection found that there was no modification error.

Is there a problem with the user's operation? So we check to see if any port is occupied, causing the service to fail to start.

First look at the user's configuration, as shown in the following figure:

When checking, it was found that the customer only changed the port of the penetration service, the port of Mqtt, and the port of redis, and the webpage could not be accessed when accessing the intranet, and the service page of EasyNTS could not be viewed through 127.0.0.1:port.

As shown in the figure above, the webpage cannot be opened, and the same is true for changing the browser.

Since there is no problem finding out for the time being, I can only give the customer a new ini file with a try mentality. After the replacement, the service can be used normally.

After asking the customer to make changes, restart the service to find out, but the page can't be opened.

After investigation, it is possible to start the service normally if modified locally, but cannot be started at the customer site, so change the font encoding to test it, as shown in the following figure

Change the encoding format to ANSI format to see if it can be started. After testing, it is found that it can be viewed, but the font is garbled.

Therefore, it is determined that the font output by the customer using Notepad is not compatible with the font encoding recognized by the service. The solution is to install third-party software on the customer's computer to modify the ini file, or open it with WordPad.

After modification, the service can start normally:
