Time flies, four years of undergraduate studies have passed, and the summer vacation for more than two months is also spent quietly. This summer vacation I only remember getting up every morning, eating, and my mother complained about the air conditioner and the electricity bill...now I have started a normal life in the dormitory, and started to take classes, which is considered settled down.
How are the classmates who work
Most of my classmates may have gone to work, a small number of students went on to higher education, and even a very small number of students in World War II. For the working classmates, very few are in large factories, most of them are in good traditional companies, and very few are in very ordinary companies.
For most students, work means a new starting point, because at this stage there is no family and I am very young. Apart from working, I can learn more technical knowledge and wait for the next delivery. And most of the computer work 995 and some are 99 weeks old. In ordinary days, they are sleepy when they come home. Without the experience of going to school, they stay up until one or two o’clock every day. When they come home, they may take a look at the phone and then fall asleep. , And I also want to stay quietly for one day or learn to sum up on weekends. If two days are spent, it may be arranged appropriately.
Of course, the classmates after work are much richer than the undergraduate years. Haha. In terms of the balance of time and money in school, we usually squeeze the bus as far as we can, but after graduation, our personal time has actually become very little. In terms of travel, I prefer to choose fast transportation. After all, a good computer science is still much less stressful than other majors in basic food, clothing, housing and transportation.
Some of them are in the first line, some are in the second line, some want to earn a few years of money and then retreat to a second-line work life, and some want to study hard before entering a first-line factory, and some want to work for two years and then take a graduate school... But they also miss the time when they go to school, they are carefree, they may encounter more problems and pressures at work, their personal space and time are relatively small, and there may not be many classmates around them. The days may be gone. But fortunately, every company has a small partner with fresh graduates to accompany each other, the boss gives a lot of guidance and help in work and study, and the technical knowledge can be steadily improved. Although a little busy, every day is still fulfilling.
What is the life of a graduate student
To be honest, in the past, the life of a graduate student has always been in my mind, because we went to the library for self-study at the undergraduate stage. Graduate students also have derivatives, and the teaching and research section (a fixed place for self-study) only has a class for the first study. I thought I was a graduate student writing code quietly in one place, doing my own things. But in fact, I found that there are not a lot of courses. You need to complete 29 credits a year, which is equivalent to about 15 courses. Each course has 32 hours and exams. And there are many of these courses, and there are also many courses that are not in line with their own development direction.
For the first time in postgraduate life, roommates and classmates are very good, because it is a little troublesome to buy things and get express delivery in the new campus, but the accommodation environment is much better than that of undergraduates. Undergraduates have normal six-bed rooms, bunk beds, no air conditioning and no independent bathroom (leave this year) It just so happens that the new campus has everything). This is a quadruple room, with bed and table, air-conditioned and independent bathroom. Everyone has a big and small space, and the roommates are usually quiet, and the atmosphere of studying and living in the dormitory is also very good.
Postgraduate courses are mostly research-oriented, and there are more mathematics or artificial intelligence algorithms, but I personally think that on the one hand, the market algorithm job competition is a bit too fierce. Many cross-examinations do not develop algorithms, and many do not know if they will not. The meeting will follow the instructor brainless. And I am not fanatical about this. On the other hand, the current development and algorithm pay of major manufacturers is also getting smaller. Finally, it’s very important to do a little better in development. I think it’s easier to output knowledge, engage in official accounts or write small articles.
Other undergraduate students have basically arrived at the school one after another. Some have a deep interest in scientific research. I also wish them a good harvest on the road to scientific research!
Non-computer majors
The author also has some classmates who are non-computers. Some of them are also accepted for postgraduate entrance examinations, and some have been admitted to the teacher establishment. They embarked on the small life of nine to five pairs of winter and summer vacations, and they also faced great pressure and competition on the way to the examination. Iron rice bowls are not so easy to obtain. But there are a lot of funny things about being a teacher: a classmate (not my direct classmate) took the exam as a teacher in our junior high school, and our junior high school teacher is famous for beating people. Basically everyone in school was slapped every week. , Fan so many times. If you go to get off work with the teacher who beat yourself up. I don't know the psychological activities of this classmate and the teachers who have taught him.
Well, let’s not talk about it. After graduation, everyone has their own goals and directions, and they start to develop and operate themselves. Living in the moment!
