Which Hong Kong bank cards can be used for Mainland Witness? Which is more convenient and has lower threshold requirements?

First, give everyone a shot:

Unlike the mainland, Hong Kong banks mostly charge management fees and ordinary transfer fees. Transfers are not available during non-transaction hours, and the transfer speed is difficult to arrive in seconds!

Now I can’t go to Hong Kong, so many banks can’t handle it, so the following will only talk about a few that can be witnessed in the Mainland.

(Note: The policy may change at any time, for example, a certain city becomes unavailable or raises the threshold)

In order to make new Hong Kong stocks, I and my family have handled 3 Minsheng Hong Kong bank cards.

Why choose Minsheng Bank Hong Kong Card?

Below I list the requirements and characteristics of different Hong Kong bank cards, you will know why

1. Minsheng Bank Hong Kong Branch

① Data requirements:

The validity period of the second-generation ID card is more than 6 months;

Passport validity > 6 months + multiple-entry visa (mostly apply for Turkey now, I found it by Fliggy, comment below if needed)

proof of address. For example, credit card bills, real estate certificates, driver's licenses, or monthly bank statements with address + stamped utility bills, etc. (in some cities, although this is not mandatory, some people are required by Hong Kong to add information)

② Capital threshold & city:

For Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and Fuzhou, 50,000 for 3 months, Shenyang 50,000 for 6 months, Xiamen 100,000 for March, Xi’an 50,000 for June only for local residents, Shanghai 100,000 for 3 months, you need to go to the branch twice , There are many other cities that are not listed one by one, other cities are mostly 300,000, and some are lower. For details, you can leave a message below and I will help you inquire.

③ Port card management fee:

The balance in the most recent March is ≥100,000, free of charge;

Bank-securities transfer: starting from October 1, it will be calculated based on the number of brokers who use bank-securities for transactions each month (assuming it is N), the fee = (N-1)*10 Hong Kong dollars, and the monthly cap is 150 Hong Kong dollars (if the account is last 3 Average monthly balance ≥100,000, free of charge)

⑤ Processing time: about 2 months at present (may become longer as time changes)

9. How to choose a comprehensive comparison?

I personally will give priority to the Hong Kong branch of Minsheng Bank, followed by Jianshe/Nanyang/Dah Sing. The big guys can apply for a foreign card Standard Chartered/HSBC.

Because the speed of fund mobilization is very important, bank securities are very popular!

If you have a lot of money, you can choose Standard Chartered HSBC. It is relatively easy to get the funds back.

A digression, if I can go to Hong Kong later, I might set up a BOCHK + Wing Lung Bank.

10. Precautions for the use of Hong Kong bank cards

Since Hong Kong banks and mainland banks are completely different systems, and foreign exchange operations are sensitive, improper use is easy to refuse the operation, and to block the card and freeze the card.

① Transit from Mainland Card to Hong Kong Card. My personal livelihood in the Mainland is the maximum of one cross-border remittance within 90 days to reduce operational risks. If you insist on increasing the number of times, apply for more Mainland cards;

② Transfer between Hong Kong Card and brokerage. Don't be too frequent. I personally need to operate 3 pens at most on this day. If you can do it, don’t move. If you can use a bank certificate, you can use a bank certificate.
